Six nights of Hanukkah

It’s been special for me and for the husband.

Last night our kids were here. We played dreidel for two hours. We had a successful Havdalah. When we lit candles, the hubby stated his intention for the evening’s candle to be for both our girls to grow up into successful and happy young women.

He’s a peach. I’m keeping him.

Tonight we both had intentions for our daughters – me for one of them and him for the other.

Tomorrow a friend visits and we have the seventh night.

The last night, my best friend will be here, just as she was on the first night.

I have pictures and no doubt they’ll make appearances, but it’s been very special for our first-ever Hanukkah.

Tonight, we looked at tallitot.
